Volleyball Recap: Splendora Comes Up Short

Splendora was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the College Station Cougars, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-18, 25-10.

Ava Tullos paced Splendora's offense, picking up five kills. Tullos got some help from Lanie Kitchen and her six assists. Bevin Baker controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Splendora's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for College Station, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Splendora will square off against Montgomery at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for College Station, they will face off against Bryan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
