Basketball Recap: Dundalk Takes a Loss

Dundalk lost against Milford Mill Academy back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Dundalk Owls were outmatched by the Milford Mill Academy Millers and fell 87-40. While losing is never fun, the Owls can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 296th, while the Millers are ranked 85th).

Dundalk has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season. As for Milford Mill Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dundalk will venture away from home to challenge Woodlawn at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Dundalk is facing Woodlawn at the right time seeing as Woodlawn is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Milford Mill Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Randallstown at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Randallstown's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine matches.
