Soccer Recap: Davis Comes Up Short

Davis and Syracuse squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Davis had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Titans by a score of 2-1. Davis have struggled against Syracuse recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Davis' defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Syracuse, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season.

Davis does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Syracuse, they will take on Lone Peak at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Lone Peak's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Syracuse's offense will have their work cut out for them.
