Softball Recap: Llano Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Llano and Jim Ned squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Llano had to settle for second. They came up short against the Indians, falling 26-3.

Emilie Clopton was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run. Jaci Smith was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one RBI.

Llano's defeat dropped their record down to 10-17. As for Jim Ned, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-9 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Jim Ned beat Llano by a score of 13-0 on Saturday.
