Basketball Recap: Fairfield Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Fairfield can now relate to. They fell just short of the Chinook Beeters by a score of 44-41 on Saturday. The loss put an end to the Eagles' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Fairfield fell to 19-1. As for Chinook, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Fairfield nor Chinook have any future games scheduled.
