Basketball Game Preview: Westminster Christian Warriors vs. Christian Liberty Chargers

The Westminster Christian Warriors will venture away from home to challenge the Christian Liberty Chargers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 64-17, which was the final score in Westminster Christian's tilt against Harvest Christian Academy on Friday. The Warriors have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Christian Liberty waltzed into their game on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Green Giants 38-36. While the Chargers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 2-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Christian Liberty has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Westminster Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

Westminster Christian beat Christian Liberty 34-26 in their previous matchup back in February. Will Westminster Christian repeat their success, or does Christian Liberty have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
