Football Recap: Arlington Red Devils vs. Hardin Northern Polar Bears
Arlington gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. Everything went their way against the Hardin Northern Polar Bears as the Arlington Red Devils made off with a 53-33 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Red Devils also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2023.
Loss or not, Hardin Northern got some senior leadership from Nolan Hopson and Xander Wilson. Hopson rushed for 150 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.5 yards per carry, while Wilson. rushed for 137 yards and two touchdowns.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Arlington will take on Riverdale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hardin Northern, they will venture away from home to take on North Baltimore at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
