Baseball Recap: Morris Knolls Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Morris Knolls's offense. They fell just short of the Hanover Park Hornets by a score of 1-0 on Friday. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Golden Eagles were not able to get on the board.

Morris Knolls now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Hanover Park, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Morris Knolls will face off against West Morris Mendham at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The last three games the Minutemen have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Hanover Park, they have already played their next game, an 8-7 defeat against Mount Olive on the 3rd.
