Volleyball Recap: Granada Hills Charter Comes Up Short

Granada Hills Charter and Mammoth squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Granada Hills Charter had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Huskies by a score of 3-2. While the Highlanders didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Huskies 25-19 in the first set.

Granada Hills Charter took Mammoth into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking five-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-23, 25-18, 19-25, 15-10.

Granada Hills Charter's loss dropped their record down to 28-20. As for Mammoth, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 37-5-1.

Granada Hills Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mammoth, they will square off against Capistrano Valley Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
