Basketball Recap: Kendall Neal Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Danville

Mt. Gilead won the last time they faced Danville and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Mt. Gilead Indians managed a 41-36 victory over the Danville Blue Devils.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mt. Gilead to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kendall Neal, who posted nine points along with five boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Danielle Pohlkotte, who had 11 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

The win got Mt. Gilead back to even at 6-6. As for Danville, they dropped their record down to 0-12 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home.

Mt. Gilead wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 47-42 victory against Northmor on the 11th. As for Danville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 55-28 loss against Centerburg on the 11th.
