Basketball Recap: Caledonia Comes Up Short

Caledonia has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They lost 56-36 to the Kosciusko Whippets on Tuesday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cavaliers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 48-38 two weeks ago.

Kosciusko got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kaniziya Floyd out in front who went 5 of 7 on her way to 13 points and six steals. The dominant performance gave Floyd a new career-high in steals. Another player making a difference was Journey Harris, who went 6 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 19 points.

Caledonia's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Kosciusko, they have been performing well recently as they've won 15 of their last 18 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season.

Caledonia has already played their next game (against Louisville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Kosciusko has already played their next match, a 50-35 loss against Houston on the 30th.
