American Heritage is a perfect 8-0 against Cypress Bay since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The American Heritage Patriots will face off against the Cypress Bay Lightning at 6:00 p.m. American Heritage is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

American Heritage's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Pembroke Pines Charter with a sharp 12-0 victory. The contest marked the Patriots' most dominant win of the season so far.

Samantha Santana was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Bria Villano, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

American Heritage was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .406. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pembroke Pines Charter only posted a batting average of .176.

Meanwhile, Cypress Bay came up short against Western on Thursday and fell 4-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Lightning in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now lost six in a row.

Cypress Bay saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Allena Dinneen, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI. That RBI marked the first that Dinneen brought in this season.

American Heritage's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Cypress Bay, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

American Heritage's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's game. American Heritage has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Cypress Bay, though, as they've been averaging only 1 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will American Heritage continue to outrun the ball?

American Heritage was able to grind out a solid win over Cypress Bay in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, winning 4-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for American Heritage since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
