Soccer Recap: Monroe County Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Glasgow, Monroe County was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Russellville Panthers a 2-0 shutout.

The victory got Monroe County back to even at 2-2. As for Russellville, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Monroe County will look to takes advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they takes on Todd County Central at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Russellville, they are taking a road trip to take on Franklin-Simpson at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
