Volleyball Recap: Brandon's Run of Eight Straight Wins Now Over

After a string of eight wins, Brandon's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the Germantown Mavericks by a score of 2-1. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mavericks earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Aubrey Dale paced Brandon's offense, picking up 14 kills. Dale got some help from Mia Williams and her 23 assists. Williams was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Brandon's loss dropped their record down to 16-4. As for Germantown, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Coming up, Brandon will face off against Oak Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Germantown, they will challenge Madison Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
