Basketball Recap: Spackenkill Skates Past Fallsburg with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Spackenkill). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Fallsburg Comets 103-29. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 33 points or more this season.

The win was the third in a row for Spackenkill, bringing their record for this year to 3-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 51.7 points. As for Fallsburg, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Spackenkill will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against New Paltz at 5:45 p.m. Spackenkill knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully New Paltz likes a good challenge. As for Fallsburg, they will head out on the road to square off against Port Jervis at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
