Basketball Recap: Green Valley Falls to the Meadows School in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Green Valley unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. The game between the Gators and The Meadows School Mustangs didn't end well, with the Gators falling 48-33. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Gators of the 58-55 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

When it comes to explaining why Green Valley lost on Tuesday, don't look at Lamarcus Carter. Despite the final result, he posted 12 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Gasim Yousif, who earned four points and six boards.

The victory got The Meadows School back to even at 1-1.

Green Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 73-64 defeat against Shadow Ridge on the 3rd. As for The Meadows School, they have also already played their next matchup, a 72-64 win against Basic on the 4th.
