Baseball Recap: Riverdale Comes Up Short

Riverdale lost to Ravenwood on Wednesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Warriors came up short against the Raptors, falling 17-9. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Warriors have suffered against the Raptors since March 29, 2019.

Riverdale has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 23-17 record this season. As for Ravenwood, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 32-9.

While Riverdale had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
