Adairsville waltzed into their match on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the Southeast Whitfield County Raiders with a sharp 11-1 victory. Considering the Tigers have won seven matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Adairsville got a great performance from Jordan Clay as she didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit while striking out six over five innings pitched.

At the plate, Alivia Joslin was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Ansley Powell, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI, a triple, and a run.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Adairsville was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .391. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher in four consecutive contests.

Adairsville pushed their record up to 9-5 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Southeast Whitfield County, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.
