Bethlehem Central and Saratoga Springs are an even 5-5 against one another  since September of 2019, but  not for long. After both having extra time off,  the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out  at 4:15  p.m.  on Monday. Both come into the  matchup bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
On Tuesday, Bethlehem Central made easy work of Colonie Central  and carried off  a  3-0 victory. The  win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Wolfpack: they've now won three in a row.
 Bethlehem Central's got stronger as the match went on, holding Colonie Central to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-17,  25-10.
Meanwhile, Saratoga Springs was able to grind out a solid  victory over Shaker on Tuesday, taking the game  3-1.
 Saratoga Springs had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-20, 25-23,  25-16.
Saratoga Springs found their leader in freshman  Taryn Adams, who  had 15  digs and three  aces.  Gracie Parillo also deserves some recognition as  she  had her first  digs of the season.
 Saratoga Springs  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 21  aces. That's the most  aces they've posted since back in September.
 Bethlehem Central's record now sits at 12-3-2. As for Saratoga Springs,  the  win  got them back to even at 8-8.
 Everything went Bethlehem Central's way against Saratoga Springs in their previous meeting  back in September, as Bethlehem Central made off with  a  3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the  squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
