Volleyball Recap: Victoria West Comes Up Short

Victoria West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the New Braunfels Unicorns. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Unicorns when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

New Braunfels' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Hayden Jeffers, who had 19 digs and two assists. That's the most digs Jeffers has posted over her last eight matchups. Another player making a difference was Jordynn Ash, who had 11 digs.

Victoria West's defeat dropped their record down to 20-4. As for New Braunfels, their record now sits at 24-5.

Victoria West has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Copperas Cove on the 30th. As for New Braunfels, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Willis on the 30th.
