Baseball Game Preview: Butler Aviators vs. Badin Rams

The Butler Aviators will take on the Badin Rams at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Butler comes in on six and Badin on four.

Butler is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They walked away with a 5-2 win over Ross.

Badin came out on top against Monroe on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run second inning. The Rams blew past the Hornets 12-2. Considering the Rams have won 19 games by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Brooks Treadway looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Badin got a massive performance out of Kade Bowling, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Chandler Taylor was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Butler pushed their record up to 26-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Badin, their record is now 27-6.
