Football Recap: South Fulton Falls Short of Richland in the Playoffs + How To Watch

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, South Fulton couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They had to suffer through a 42-8 loss at the hands of the Richland Raiders. The contest marked the Red Devils' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Grant Joyner threw for 70 yards on 12 of 20 attempts.

Jake Sands had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 78 yards and two scores on only seven carries for Richland.

South Fulton's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Richland, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

South Fulton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Richland, they will be playing at home against McKenzie on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Raiders 11.2, the Rebels 9.3) so any points scored will be well earned.
