Basketball Game Preview: Hickory Flat Rebels vs. Strayhorn Mustangs

Having just played yesterday, the Hickory Flat Rebels will head out on the road to face off against the Strayhorn Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Hickory Flat and five for Strayhorn dating back to last season.

On Thursday, Hickory Flat ended up a good deal behind Myrtle and lost 50-33.

Meanwhile, Strayhorn was beaten by Independence 85-21 two weeks ago.

Hickory Flat's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Strayhorn, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Hickory Flat and Strayhorn were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in February, but Hickory Flat came up empty-handed after a 58-57 loss. Can the Rebels avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
