Football Recap: Marina Starts off Right with Win over Yerba Buena

Marina gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They came out on top against the Yerba Buena Aztec Warriors by a score of 21-12.

Yerba Buena is on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marina will host Mt. Pleasant at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Yerba Buena, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Harbor at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
