Wheeler had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They blew past the Calumet New Tech Warriors 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bearcats also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Wheeler was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-8, 25-13.

Izabela Schumacher paced Wheeler's offense, picking up seven kills. Schumacher were helped by Sophia Hall and Julia Newsome, who contributed seven assists each. Brooklynne Joliff controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

Wheeler's record is now 16-8. As for Calumet New Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 0-12.

Wheeler didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Illiana Christian on the 29th. Calumet New Tech has also already played their next matchup (against Bowman Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
