Granite Falls has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They lost 7-1 to the Chimacum Cowboys on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Granite Falls can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 240th, while Chimacum are ranked 99th).

Granite Falls' loss dropped their record down to 0-4-2. As for Chimacum, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Granite Falls will venture away from home to take on Bear Creek at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Granite Falls are facing Bear Creek at the right time seeing as Bear Creek are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Chimacum, they are taking a road trip to challenge Cascade Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Chimacum will need to watch out since Cascade Christian have now posted at least four goals every time they've taken the pitch this season.
