Volleyball Recap: Viborg/Hurley Comes Up Short

Viborg/Hurley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Hanson Beavers. The Cougars were not able to make up for their loss to the Beavers from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

While Viborg/Hurley was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Hanson's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-15, 25-19.

Viborg/Hurley's record now sits at 5-21. As for Hanson, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-17 record this season.

Viborg/Hurley is taking a road trip to square off against Alcester-Hudson at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Hanson, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against McCook Central/Montrose at 7:30 p.m.
