On Thursday, everything went Hidden Valley's way against Phoenix as Hidden Valley made off with a 9-1 win.

Meanwhile, Henley had already won 15 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.3 runs), and they went ahead and made it 16 on Wednesday. They blew past the Challengers 12-2. Henley's victory was all the more impressive since Cascade Christian was averaging only 3.94 runs allowed on the season.
