Football Recap: Labrae Starts Season with Win on the Road

LaBrae had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Cardinal Huskies 49-8 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Huskies: they've now won three in a row.

Special teams played a big role in the game for LaBrae, adding 17 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Zach Freeman, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

Coming up, LaBrae will face off against Pymatuning Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cardinal, they will challenge Champion at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
