Volleyball Recap: Cooper Comes Up Short

Cooper was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They came up short against the Abilene Eagles, falling 3-0. The Cougars were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in November of 2024.

Cooper took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-10, 25-12.

Cooper's loss dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Abilene, their victory bumped their record up to 16-11.

Cooper has already played their next contest (against Abilene H), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Abilene, they will square off against Legacy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
