Basketball Recap: Eastside Wins Going Away Against El Segundo

The Eastside Lions got the win against the El Segundo Eagles on Friday by a conclusive 54-33. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Kenneth Harris was a one-man wrecking crew as he posted 18 points along with five assists and five steals. That's the most steals he has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Zhakari Fulcher, who went 5-for-10 to rack up 12 points and four steals.

Eastside now has a winning record of 2-1. As for El Segundo, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Eastside didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 84-35 victory against Hollywood on the 22nd. As for El Segundo, they will face off against Venice at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
