Baseball Game Preview: Newton County Academy Generals vs. Grace Christian Eagles

The Newton County Academy Generals will face off against the Grace Christian Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Newton County Academy and six for Grace Christian dating back to last season.

Newton County Academy lost 12-1 to Sylva Bay Academy on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Generals have suffered against the Saints since March 29, 2021.

Meanwhile, Grace Christian came up short against Central Holmes Christian two weeks ago, falling 15-2.

Everything went Newton County Academy's way against Grace Christian when the teams last played back in February, as Newton County Academy made off with a 22-1 win.
