Kennedy lost to Christ the King back in January of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Kennedy Crusaders walked away with a 33-26 win over the Christ the King Gladiators. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Crusaders.

Kennedy's victory bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Christ the King, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-12.

Kennedy and Christ the King's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Kennedy and Perspectives-IIT/Joslin (who has only given up 25.23 points per game) will meet at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Kennedy's defense has only allowed 28.6 points per game this season, so Christ the King's offense will have their work cut out for them. Similarly, Christ the King will take on Ellison at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, a team that's only allowed 19.5 points per game.
