Baseball Recap: Drumright Comes Up Short

Drumright lost against Hominy back in March of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Drumright Tornadoes took a 13-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hominy Bucks. Even if the Tornadoes couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Gavin Brimmer made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in runs. Garett Wright was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Drumright is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4. As for Hominy, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record.

Drumright has already played their next match, a 10-0 win against Regent Prep on the 11th. As for Hominy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-0 loss against Ripley on the 11th.
