Soccer Recap: New Prairie Takes a Loss

New Prairie's game on Thursday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Morgan Township Cherokees by a score of 2-1. New Prairie were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Morgan Township apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

New Prairie now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Morgan Township, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-4.

New Prairie wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 6-0 loss against Elkhart on the 17th. As for Morgan Township, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-1 win against Hammond Academy of Science & Tech on the 13th.
