Softball Recap: Dekaney Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Dekaney's offense. They lost 21-0 to the Spring Lions on Tuesday. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Lions from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Dekaney saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zoe Trevi?o, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Dekaney now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Spring, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dekaney will square off against MacArthur at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Spring, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Spring Lions face off against Nimitz Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
