Recap: Hicksville Aces vs. Liberty Center Tigers
The Hicksville Aces's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a rough 65-35 loss at the hands of Liberty Center. While losing is never fun, Hicksville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 696th, while the Tigers are ranked 59th).
Despite the defeat, Hicksville saw an underclassman step up: Kennedy Adams scored 11 points along with six rebounds.
Hicksville struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. They are winless (0-5) when they can't control their own glass like that.
Hicksville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Liberty Center, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hicksville will take on the Rams at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Liberty Center, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Golden Bears at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bryan is looking to tack on another W to their eight-game streak on the road.
