Soccer Game Preview: Valley View vs. IDEA North Mission

The Valley View Tigers will head out to square off against IDEA North Mission at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Valley View will be strutting in after a win while IDEA North Mission will be coming in after a defeat.

Valley View took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. Everything went their way against Vanguard Academy Mozart as Valley View made off with an 11-0 victory. Considering the Tigers have won four contests by more than four goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Vanguard Academy Mozart from everywhere, as eight different players booted in a goal. Ariadna Rodriguez led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

IDEA North Mission played against Vanguard Academy Rembrandt and lost via forfeit.

Valley View is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 27 goals over those six matches. As for IDEA North Mission, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
