Baseball Recap: East Bladen Comes Up Short

East Bladen lost to West Brunswick back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Eagles came up short against the Trojans, falling 13-7. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

East Bladen now has a losing record of 7-8. As for West Brunswick, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season.

East Bladen will challenge Hobbton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Brunswick, they will host Hoggard at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Vikings have averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season.
