Basketball Recap: Tipton-Rosemark Academy Comes Up Short

Tipton-Rosemark Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 29-24 heartbreaker at the hands of the Fayette Academy Vikings. The Rebels were probably out for revenge after losing 48-25 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Among those leading the charge was Addison McNabb, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 rebounds. That's the most points she has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Lily Gilbert, who posted 12 points.

Tipton-Rosemark Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Fayette Academy, with the win, they broke their 18-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-14.

Tipton-Rosemark Academy has already played their next game (against University School of Jackson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Fayette Academy will host Margolin Hebrew Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Fayette Academy is facing Margolin Hebrew Academy at the right time seeing as Margolin Hebrew Academy is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
