Malad scored the most points they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 73-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wendell Trojans. The Dragons' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Wendell's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jarrett Borges, who went 6 of 11 from beyond the arc en route to 23 points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Jordon Swainston, who went 9 for 20 on his way to 20 points and five assists.
