Rockcastle County is 8-1 against Lincoln County since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Rockets will venture away from home to challenge the Patriots at 6:00 p.m.

Sydney Holcomb spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and one unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Lauren Hensley was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Macy Spivey, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
