The Lewisville Farmers will head out on the road to  challenge  the Guyer Wildcats  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both come into the  contest bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
While Lewisville's  win against Hebron wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Farmers skirted past the Hawks  45-43. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Farmers' considerable advantage  in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 18th, while the Hawks are ranked 92nd).

 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lewisville to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Tenel Hill, who rushed for 132 yards and one  TD. Those  132  rushing yards gave  Hill a new career-high.  Derrick 'Dj' Martin Iii did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 88  receiving yards.
Meanwhile, while Guyer put up some  points on Thursday, the same  can't be said for Little Elm. The Wildcats blew past the Lobos 29-0. The  victory was familiar territory for the Wildcats, who have now won five  matchups in a row.
Lewisville better keep an eye on  Kaedyn Cobbs. He was instrumental in Guyer's win, rushing for 121 yards and a pair of  touchdowns. Cobbs also  punched in two  rushing touchdowns, which is notable because the Wildcats are undefeated when he posts  at  least  two  rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.  Aiden Martens was another key back, rushing for 87 yards and one  score.
 Guyer's run defense was locked in: Little Elm could only muster 0.8 yards per carry. The team can thank  Jaylon Sterling for the heroic effort on defense: he. Guyer's ground attack was stronger, having averaged 5.1.
 Lewisville's record is now 7-1. As for Guyer, their record now sits at 6-2.
 Lewisville was able to grind out a solid  win over Guyer when the teams last played  back in November of 2024, winning  27-17. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Farmers since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
