Softball Game Preview: Technology Titans vs. Tomales Braves

The Technology Titans will take on the Tomales Braves at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Technology has struggled recently with four losses in a row, while Tomales will arrive with three straight wins.

Technology is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They came up short against Credo on Tuesday, falling 35-19. Even if the Titans couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Meanwhile, Tomales made easy work of Potter Valley on Tuesday and carried off a 21-5 win. The Braves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by 14 runs or more this season.

Tomales' victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.4 runs over those games. As for Technology, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11.
