Softball Recap: Waterloo Comes Up Short

Waterloo and Bloomfield pushed the score to 16-4 the last time they played Bloomfield, but on Tuesday defenses reigned supreme. The Tigers fell 4-0 to the Bombers. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Tigers were not able to get on the board.

Waterloo's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Bloomfield, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-1.

Looking ahead, Waterloo will be playing in front of their home fans against Mynderse Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bloomfield, they are taking a road trip to square off against Midlakes at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
