Recap: Twinfield Trojans vs. Williamstown Blue Devils
The Twinfield Trojans lost against the Williamstown Blue Devils back in February of 2020, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The matchup between the two teams wasn't particularly close, with Twinfield falling 59-43.
It was another big night for Evan Bailey, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds for Williamstown. Bailey also posted eight assists for the first time this season. Colby Laggner was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds.
Twinfield has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Williamstown, they pushed their record up to 6-4 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home.
Twinfield will take on Winooski at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Vermont (Winooski is ranked 27th, while Twinfield is ranked 46th). As for Williamstown, they will head out on the road to square off against Stowe at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Stowe is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
