Basketball Recap: Barberton Comes Up Short

Barberton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Nordonia Knights and fell 57-17. The Magics were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-7.

Barberton's loss dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Nordonia, their win bumped their record up to 7-15.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Barberton will venture away from home to square off against Firestone at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Nordonia will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Avon at 7:00 p.m. on February 19th. Nordonia has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
