Basketball Recap: Montgomery County Comes Up Short

Montgomery County was the 61-44 winner over California when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Montgomery County Wildcats were outmatched by the California Pintos and fell 81-25. The game marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Montgomery County now has a losing record at 2-3. As for California, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Montgomery County will head out to face off against New Haven at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. New Haven will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Montgomery County surely won't give up without a fight. As for California, they will head out on the road to square off against Southern Boone at 7:30 p.m. on December 17th.
