Baseball Preview: South Greene Rebels vs. Hancock County Indians

The South Greene Rebels will head out on the road to face off against the Hancock County Indians at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. South Greene is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 8.9 runs per game this season.

South Greene can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent game on Monday. Everything went their way against Hampton as South Greene made off with a 10-0 win.

Colten Fillers was excellent, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Jacob Susong, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Hancock County had to start their season on the road on March 11th, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell victim to a rough 25-4 defeat at the hands of Cumberland Gap.

Everything went South Greene's way against Hancock County in their previous matchup back in April of 2023 as South Greene made off with a 16-2 win.
