Baseball Recap: Princeton Day Comes Up Short

Princeton Day lost against Pennington back in May of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers fell just short of the Red Hawks by a score of 4-3. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Princeton Day's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Pennington, they pushed their record up to 16-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Princeton Day and Pennington should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings. The Panthers (ranked 72nd) will meet Voorhees (ranked 235th) at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Pennington will square off against Bordentown at 4:15 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (18 vs. 112).
